Later on in drums Girls and Dangerous pie The main character Steven's little brother gets cancer. This makes the story a lot better. Now it is more interesting because I'm waiting for something to happen. For my group I'm reading Outsiders. It is a pretty good book because it has the point of view of a bunch of poor gang members. I think it makes it more interesting. As you can see I like my books to be interesting otherwise I lose my motivation to read them.

    Focus on indepenedent novel only. Give examples from the book to show how the main character makes it more interesting.

    The main characters brother getting cancer seems very sad but would absolutely make the story more interesting. Othersiders sounds like a good book too. I also agree that if a book is not interesting I would lose motivation in reading it.
